For decades, King County has been aiming to lower the amount of people sent to prison. Now, ZYD is working to help change the legal system by reforming policies and services that result in racial disproportion.
ZYD is working with families, communities, and others that want to empower the lives of youths to prevent them from entering or re-entering the juvenile legal system. We are partnering with communities to create opportunities that improve the lives of youth, children, and families that have experienced trauma from incarceration.
